I Felt Important Just Being There.

I have to admit that the word “Oxford” conjured specific and memorable images in my mind (these include tall gothic style cityscapes and elite wealthy college kids), but now having actually visited, what clings most to my imagination is how the university integrates itself with in the city. Each separate college within Oxford University is spread through out the town, with tall stone walls and small entries within large archways. Although some might get the vibe that Oxford students and faculty feel the need to hide behind close doors to protect their reputation as a breed of higher educated people, I believe it to be nothing more than tradition.
